Hungary Day 3:

Hungary Day 3

Date: Friday, May 20th, 2011 Late Afternoon 4:24pm

This morning was super fun! observing the english language class was definitely an experience. the kids act just like american children. they are loud and playful. i like them lots. there was a class where we were interviewed by the kids. the little girl i was with wasnt sure what to ask me and i frustrated her a little. when she asked me if i like dogs i told her yes and that i have five. then her face just had this crazy look. and then she asked me if i like cats and i told her yes and that i have 10. she just looked at me like i was insane and no one should have that many pets. it was super cute. i really wish that we had learned another language more fluently while we were in school, because then spanish wouldnt be so hard and then i would feel a little more at home here.

This afternoon was really fun! there is culture everywhere. i'm really glad that we were here for the festival. At time we stick out, but i feel like at those times we would be noticed at home. people dont care that we are here or that we are having a good time, they are too busy having a good time with their friends. after dinner shannon and i just sat out by the concert and listened to the music. it was awesome :D the more i watched people the more i realized that we are the same. we all act the same regardless of where we are from, granted, there are differences but the heart of how we act is the same. its nice to know that universally we are all similar. its easy to forget that we are all just people trying to get the most out of life regardless of where we are from.
