Class... its always harder than it looks:

okay i know i havn't been posting in a while but i have been really busy and there is so much to tell!! this might take a few posts so bear with me. :P i have spent my J-term at Au Sable institute for environmental studies. its amazing here! we have like 3 1/2 feet of snow! i love the snow! the first day i got here i was totally amazed, this place is perfect. i like the out doors. i share a cabin with 5 other girls and the cabin is 2 stories and there are 6 sets of bunk beds, so we all got our own bunk! one to put stuff on and the other to sleep on. there are six dresser too so everyone gets their own!! YAY!! the class that i am taking is called winter biology. its really awesome, i'm learning really cool things about the snow, more than a normal person should know maybe, but still cool. the class has a huge work load and its all due today, i've been here for like two weeks and i only have like three class days left, so yeah i am really behind on the whole blogging thing... i've got most of it done, i spent the last week in lab like every night trying to finish my work. the other big thing is due monday, everyone in the class has their own individual project that they did and have to give a presentation about. mine is that i'm going to track a pocupine and then tell the class about it and what it has been up to. i have found my porkie already, i saw him sleeping in a tree a while back and i've been tracking him for a while i think that he is really cool! on Wednesday we went on a field trip and almost died AND i got to pet a doe!! she walked right up to me and i got to scratch her head and she licked my hand! how cool is that! oh and how i almost died... well ben was driving his car with a bunch of girls in it and i was in the front seat. he was taking off his coat so i held the wheel for him and then he decided that it would be fun to hit the gas. not fun. we almost ran into a tree, its a good thing that he grabbed the wheel. dork. he also forgot to put the car in park and we almost hit our prof's car. that was kinda funny but everyone except ben was still inside the car. anyway class is about to start so i will tell you about the awesomenest of being outside and broomball in the next one. ttfn ta ta for now!
